Brittany Campbell, Bianca Muñiz and Aberdeen play The Revolution #26 on 04.28

The Revolution, National Sawdust's monthly appointment with emerging NYC artists, returns on Saturday, April 28th with three artists perfectly complementing each other.
Talented soul pop and visual artist Brittany Campbell, who graced the cover of what will probably be remembered as the weirdest cover of our print magazine (back in 2016), will be the main attraction of the night, joined on stage by brass band Aberdeen's dynamic and cinematic instrumentals, and by Bianca Muñiz's delicate but somewhat troubled soul ballads.
Tickets and info can be found here, check out a YouTube compilation with two videos per artist, streaming below.
Deli Covergirl Brittany Campbell drops new single and video

Brittany Campbell continues her electric pop diva reign of NYC with her new single and video “Buzz.” Just in time for cuddle weather, this sex-infused ode to altered states of consciousness seems designed to bring you closer to someone either on the dancefloor or between the sheets. Don’t get it twisted, though, Brittany is a fan of wordplay and the double entendres run wild in this song. From the diamonds in her eyes to the “buzz” of love/drugs/fame, we’ve all got a need to fulfill. Let Brittany Campbell bring you closer. - BrokeMc

NYC Soul Artist on the rise: Brittany Campbell hosts monthly event at Skate Brooklyn

Brittany Campbell is the artist people dream to be. Not only did she produce her own (third) album "Heroes" and animate the video for the title track (streaming), she is also the co-host of a monthly event at Skate Brooklyn called Tomboi (pictured) which showcases and empowers women artists. Her Jamaican-influenced pop-soul anthems mix in a touch of hip hop and punk ethos make for a compelling live performance; members of the crowd who don’t dance stand enthralled in the musicianship of her live band, and the unbridled charisma of the spunky frontwoman. Though Tomboi implies the infiltration of traditionally male roles, the strength of Brittany and her sistren is a class of its own. - BrokeMC, photo by Meena Ziabari
